The Miller family pulls its land from the short list of sites for a new prison. Rep. Paul Ray wants to expand the death penalty. Yet another audit shows the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control needs more training for its managers and better accounting controls. And critics of federal control want Utah taxpayers to help pay the legal bills of a county commissioner convicted of organizing an illegal ATV ride on federal land.

On Friday at 9 a.m., Tribune reporters Matt Canham and Robert Gehrke, health, education and environment editor Rebecca Walsh and columnist Paul Rolly join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the week’s top news stories.
