Join us at the Humane Society of Utah for a yard sale of pet supplies! Get your dog a new crate, your cat a new tower, or a variety of other pet items for only a suggested donation. That’s right, YOU name the price to donate to to the homeless animals here at the HSU.

We’ll have drinks and snacks available for purchase, so stop by and take a look at what we have! Then stay for our “Doggy Date Night” movie.

Bring your dog-friendly canine friend out to the Humane Society lawn to enjoy an outdoor movie! We will be showing “Homeward Bound” on our lawn. Before the movie begins (around sundown at 9 P.M.) we will be honoring HSU alumna and Utah’s “Ugliest Dog,” Creature, with a lifetime achievement award. Don’t miss out!

Come as early as you’d like to enjoy popcorn, soda, sno-cones, and other treats. Then put down your blanket or chair, and enjoy the show!

Give $2 to participate in our opportunity giveaway.

All donations will directly benefit the animals here at the HSU.

Please keep your dogs on leash at all times and do not bring outside food/drink.

Amend, then Upend: Building a Movement to Dismantle Corporate Rule! @ First Unitarian Church

Move to Amend is a national, grassroots coalition working to amend the Constitution to abolish corporate personhood.

But that’s just our small goal.

Our big one? To build a movement across issues and oppressions to resist corporate rule and replace it with a system of justice for all.

But how do we get there?

Join Move to Amend for a workshop and panel that will connect the dots between law, culture and power and help scheme strategies in the quest for collective liberation.
