To submit an event to the Community Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:
- The event must take place in Utah.
- The organization promoting the event must be a qualified 501 (c) (3) charity or political subdivision.
- The event cannot promote a religious organization or individual.
If your event meets these criteria, click Post Your Event below. Include your contact information in case we have any questions. Otherwise, your event may not get published.
KCPW would like to encourage you to make the most of your post with a featured image and links to your organization.

Join the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City and Intermountain Harley-Davidson in supporting our Veterans.
This ride is designed to help raise money for Housing Authority of Salt Lake City programs to assist homeless and formerly homeless Veterans. They are men and women who served our country with Honor, now help us provide resources to serve them.
Volunteers are needed to help celebrate the grand opening of the new Salt Lake City Public Safety Building.
This stunning facility located at 300 East and 450 South will be home to SLC Police and Fire Departments as well as 911 dispatch. The building will be open to the public July 20 – 27 and volunteers can help to greet and guide visitors.
Shifts are available between 9 am and 8 pm each day, no experience is necessary and all training will be provided.

Join us for Cycling Saturday on July 20th from 10am-2pm. The whole family can ride together on the beautiful Provo River Parkway and enjoy a BBQ lunch at Vivian Park. $25/person. Includes lunch, bike rental, and guided ride.

Pioneer Day Raft and Run
The inaugural Pioneer Day Raft and Run begins at Canyon Glen Park where participants load on buses for transportation to the race start, beginning with a five-mile raft trip on the Provo River to Vivian Park. Once the raft docks, each team member will be timed to the finish of the 5k run at Canyon Glen Park.

All proceeds will benefit the “Live Your Dream Scholarship,” created to help single mothers achieve their dreams of completing a college degree. Inspired by his daughter Katie, whose husband’s passing left her to provide for their three-month-old daughter, Paragon Wealth Management Founder and President Dave Young created the “Live Your Dream” scholarship to help single mothers in difficult situations accomplish their dreams by completing college. The scholarship awards up to $2,000 per individual applicant and can be used for tuition at any Utah university or college.

Join us at the Humane Society of Utah for a yard sale of pet supplies! Get your dog a new crate, your cat a new tower, or a variety of other pet items for only a suggested donation. That’s right, YOU name the price to donate to to the homeless animals here at the HSU.
We’ll have drinks and snacks available for purchase, so stop by and take a look at what we have! Then stay for our “Doggy Date Night” movie.
Bring your dog-friendly canine friend out to the Humane Society lawn to enjoy an outdoor movie! We will be showing “Homeward Bound” on our lawn. Before the movie begins (around sundown at 9 P.M.) we will be honoring HSU alumna and Utah’s “Ugliest Dog,” Creature, with a lifetime achievement award. Don’t miss out!
Come as early as you’d like to enjoy popcorn, soda, sno-cones, and other treats. Then put down your blanket or chair, and enjoy the show!

The 8th Annual Wasatch Wellness Run and Family Fun Fair presented by Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital and benefitting Wasatch Mental Health is the premier family-friendly running event in Utah County.
This event will please both experienced racers looking for a challenging course, runners who are racing for the very first time, and everyone in between. 10K, 5K, 1 mile race. Our famous breakfast will be served at the Family Fun Fair, with food, games, prizes, booths, and activities, held after the race.
The Photo Box Photography and the Humane Society of Utah are excited to announce “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” Summer Portrait Event. For the fifth year, this summer themed portrait opportunity for your pets and family is brought to you by the same great photographer who does “Picture Your Pet With Santa.” The Photo Box photography will be at our shelter at 4242 S. 300 W. on August 3rd with two great sets and midsummer props. Don’t worry, if you’re looking for a more traditional portrait, that option is also available.
For a $25.00 donation, you will receive a portrait sitting and one 8X10 print on the spot. Volunteers and Foster Parents will receive a special discount—only $20.00! Many more customizable prints and packages are also available online at www.thephotobox.com following your portrait sitting. Remember, 100% of the sitting fee is a donation to our shelter!
