Our Community Calendar is a resource we offer to all qualified nonprofits. Community Calendar airs throughout the day on KCPW. Featured events are chosen at random. You will also find all current Community Calendar events listed here.

To submit an event to the Community Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:

  • The event must take place in Utah.
  • The organization promoting the event  must be a qualified 501 (c) (3) charity or political subdivision.
  • The event cannot promote a religious organization or individual.

If your event meets these criteria, click Post Your Event below. Include your contact information in case we have any questions. Otherwise, your event may not get published.

KCPW would like to encourage you to make the most of your post with a featured image and links to your organization.

Local vendors will be providing fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, specialty items, and beverages. The aim of the market is to increase the access of healthy, local food to everyone at the VA. It is a chance to build relationships with farmers and small businesses in the area and make fresh produce a part of every week. Veterans, staff, and the public are all invited. The VA campus is beautiful this time of year.

Come and join us for a Wednesday afternoon lunch. Enjoy some music and relax in the shade!

WHO: Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness/ USARA celebrates individuals in recovery, their loved ones, friends and community supporters. Representatives from over 60 agiencies, mutual aide groups and community partners will be participating with giveaways and information about substance use prevention, treatment and recovery support.

WHY: September is National Recovery Month (www.recoverymonth.gov) promoting “Join the Voices for Recovery – On Pathways to Wellness”. The event is held to raise community awareness about the societal benefits of prevention, treatment, and contributions of treatment and service providers, and promotes the message that recovery in all its forms is possible. Recovery Month spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover.
