To submit an event to the Community Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:
- The event must take place in Utah.
- The organization promoting the event must be a qualified 501 (c) (3) charity or political subdivision.
- The event cannot promote a religious organization or individual.
If your event meets these criteria, click Post Your Event below. Include your contact information in case we have any questions. Otherwise, your event may not get published.
KCPW would like to encourage you to make the most of your post with a featured image and links to your organization.

Celebrate the Spirits 2013 will be held at the Newpark Town Plaza in Park
City, UT. Participants will be encouraged to trick-or-treat along the 5K and 1-mile routes at tents sponsored by local businesses. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Camp Hobé, a non-profit
organization that provides a summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. Costumes highly encouraged!
Tickets: $20 per individual runner, or $50 per family of runners.

The Graveyard at South Jordan Manor is six years old this year and has grown to become bigger than ever. This event has become a neighborhood tradition in the Oquirrh Park Neighborhood of South Jordan. On Halloween a cast of actors dressed as the living dead from all points in time haunt the neighborhood and create an incredibly haunting atmosphere. On top of that, the ensemble performs in a flash mob-esque style, Halloween favorites such as Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The event draws more and more people every Halloween, and has gained huge momentum this year. Our director/Producer, Michael Jorgensen, is joining us for a sixth year now, and the cast continues to grow featuring many of the neighborhood kids and local performers ranging in ages from 8-23. The event also hope to draw in hundreds of spectators this Halloween season. With such a huge community turn out not only in the cast but also as spectators, the company of The Graveyard at South Jordan Manor is also doing a fundraiser for the Huntsman Cancer Institute on Halloween called the Haunt for Hope. 100% of all the proceeds will be donated towards cancer treatment and cancer research.
The Dignity through Work recognition breakfast honors individuals and businesses that work with Columbus Community Center to provide people with disabilities a paycheck and the self-esteem that come with meaningful employment. The breakfast is one of Salt Lake’s premier business events, attended by more than 250 people each year.
Monstah Paintball presents the Miss Monstah Halloween Tournament, a women only Charity Event! The entry fee is 30.00, of which $15.00 will go directly towards the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation!
This is a Woman’s ages Twelve and above Only Tournament where you can compete against other Women across the Mountain West.
At the end of the event the Woman with the most points will win the Grand Prize and the coveted Miss Monstah Trophy, and your name will be along side Monstah Paintball’s on the donation check to the Foundation.

Join Great Salt Lake Audubon for at Gardner Village for an exciting evening of Birds, Blues and Jazz.
We start with a social hour at 5:00 PM where you can view and bid on raffle items donated by local merchants. A buffet dinner starts at 6:00 PM. This is followed by a bird show with live birds and a concert featuring local jazz and blues musicians.

Attorney Jay Tutchton will speak on “The Endangered Species Act and the Future of Wolf Recovery in the West.” Tutchton serves as a litigator, working primarily on Endangered Species Act issues since 1990. He currently works for Defenders of Wildlife and is Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he teaches Wildlife Law and Animal Law.
Jay Tutchton’s presentation at 7:00pm is preceded by a social hour from 6:00pm-7:00pm where guests can peruse items in the silent auction which raises funds for UEC’s work to protect the national forests and native wildlife in Utah.
Utah Environmental Congress is the only organization that monitors and protects all of the National Forests in Utah. Recognizing the importance of apex predators in maintaining healthy ecosystems, UEC campaigns to restore wolves to their native Utah.
