To submit an event to the Community Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:
- The event must take place in Utah.
- The organization promoting the event must be a qualified 501 (c) (3) charity or political subdivision.
- The event cannot promote a religious organization or individual.
If your event meets these criteria, click Post Your Event below. Include your contact information in case we have any questions. Otherwise, your event may not get published.

Join the Salt Lake City Corporation to help maintain the Parleys Canyon Campground this summer. Affleck Park is a pristine area surrounded by beautiful shade trees. Come help preserve the shade for park visitors. Volunteers are needed to wrap the bases of large Cottonwood trees with chicken wire in an attempt to mitigate tree felling/ damage due to increased beaver activity in the area. Volunteers must bring water, sunscreen, sun protection, bug spray, food, work boots and pants. Utah is home to a number of historic trails which pass through our natural wild lands. These trails are in need of consistent maintenance to keep them accessible to the public. Volunteers are needed to help dig, chop, haul, and prune in a general effort to improve the trails. This project will involve hiking long distances, possibly in hot and inclement weather. Volunteers must bring water, sunscreen, sun protection, bug spray, food, work boots and pants. All other necessary equipment will be provided by the trail crew. Volunteer with Ten Thousand Villages, a fair trade, nonprofit retail store on Main Street right near City Creek. Volunteers are included in every aspect of store operations. Volunteers are the first people customers meet when they enter the store; so they are always looking for friendly, responsible individuals to help spread the mission of fair trade. Join the Brigham Young University Museum of Art for “In the Shadows of Timpanogos: Photographs by John Telford” July 20 through December 8, 2012. For Utah photographer John Telford, Mt. Timpanogos and its surrounding canyons have been a source of unending inspiration and quiet contemplation. Telford contrasts the stability of geologic formations with variation in atmosphere, color, and vegetation over time and season. The photographs come together as a visual poem that ponders the cyclical rhythm of nature and diversity of form that provide an unending source of interest and renewal.
