Our Community Calendar is a resource we offer to all qualified nonprofits. Community Calendar airs throughout the day on KCPW. Featured events are chosen at random. You will also find all current Community Calendar events listed here.
To submit an event to the Community Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:
- The event must take place in Utah.
- The organization promoting the event must be a qualified 501 (c) (3) charity or political subdivision.
- The event cannot promote a religious organization or individual.
If your event meets these criteria, click Post Your Event below. Include your contact information in case we have any questions. Otherwise, your event may not get published.
KCPW would like to encourage you to make the most of your post with a featured image and links to your organization.

Please join New Roots with the International Rescue Committee of Salt Lake City for a Farm Raising on May 3rd. Help refugee farmers and gardeners get ready for a productive season by volunteering and donating tools and seeds from noon to 3pm. Stay with us after 3 for food and refreshments and a chance to meet the farmers and hear their inspiring stories. Come join the Salt Lake City Arts Council as a volunteer at the 29th Annual Living Traditions Festival, a celebration of Salt Lake’s Folk and Ethnic Arts! Volunteers have the opportunity to help with the children’s area, beverage booth, crafts area, maintenance and more during the three-day Festival. We need volunteers from May 14-19.
This festival offers a variety of blues and roots musicians including Booker T. Jones, Carolyn Wonderland, Jeffery Broussard, the Black Lillies, & local favorites! There is camping on-site, in the beautiful mountainous setting of North Fork Park in upper Ogden Valley. Kids’ crafts and activities to include the Drum Bus. Kick-off festival weekend with a free to public outreach concert featuring the art and history of Zydeco music presented by Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys in downtown Ogden, Thursday evening August 21st.
