Bill Betenson grew up selling T-shirts in his family’s tiny museum dedicated to the outlaw Butch Cassidy and hearing stories about his infamous great-uncle. He’s spent years gathering stories and records of Butch, and now he’s decided it’s time to publish what he’s learned. On Wednesday, Betenson joins us to talk about the memories and legends in his new book, “Butch Cassidy, My Uncle.”
Bill Betenson will read from his new book, “Butch Cassidy, My Uncle: A Family Portrait,” on Thursday, May 24 at Ken Sanders Rare Books, 268 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City.
