For the past 12 years, Daniel Suelo has lived solely off the land. He forages for onions and dumpster dives for food. He won’t accept payment for any work he performs and lives in a cave in Moab. This austere lifestyle is intentional, his – as he describes it – “therapeutic relief absent in commercial civilization.” Mark Sundeen wrote about Daniel’s money-free journey and on Monday, we’ll hear excerpts from a conversation with the two at the Utah Humanities Book Festival.
