Segment 1:
For the past 12 years, Daniel Suelo has lived solely off the land. He forages for onions and dumpster dives for food. He won’t accept payment for any work he performs and lives in a cave in Moab. This austere lifestyle is intentional, his – as he describes it – “therapeutic relief absent in commercial civilization.” Mark Sundeen wrote about Daniel’s money-free journey and on Monday, we’ll hear excerpts from a conversation with the two at the Utah Humanities Book Festival.
Guests:
- Daniel Suelo
- Mark Sundeen, “The Man Who Quit Money”
Daniel Suelo and Mark Sundeen speak with KCPW’s Jennifer Napier-Pearce on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City.
