Today, the push underway to overhaul Utah’s Tax system. We’ll get a brief overview of why tax reform is happening (lawmakers are trying to address a perceived structural imbalance in how taxes come in and are allocated). And, then, we’ll turn to a specific aspect of the proposal currently under consideration by Utah lawmakers: an increase in the tax on food.
