Former Hewlett Packard CEO and U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina addressed the Zions Bank Trade and Business Conference this afternoon at the Marriott hotel in Salt Lake City. The Texas native began her career as a secretary, before dropping out of law school and eventually became what some call the most powerful woman in American business.

(KCPW News) Former Hewlett Packard CEO and U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina  addressed the Zions Bank Trade and Business Conference this afternoon at the Marriott hotel in Salt Lake City. The Texas native began her career as a secretary, before dropping out of law school and eventually became what some call the most powerful woman in American business. Fiorina led Hewlett Packard from 1999 to 2005, before being forced out by the board of directors over the company’s controversial deal to buy then-rival Compaq in 2002. KCPW’s Whittney Evans spoke to Fiorina about her thoughts on the U.S. economy amid the backdrop of an increasingly digital and decreasingly physical world.
