(KCPW News) For the first time in 12 years, Salt Lake County residents could see a big hike in property taxes. County Mayor Peter Corroon presented his proposed $788 million budget for 2013 to the Salt Lake County Council today, and as KCPW’s Charlotte Duren reports, increased property taxes could mean fewer cuts to critical county services.
