A magnitude 5.7 earthquake hits Utah, the largest earthquake along the Wasatch Front since 1962. No serious injuries or deaths were reported, however, the quake came at an uneasy time asstatewide efforts aim to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt life in Utah. As of Thursday midday, the virus has infected 78 people in Utah with COVID—19, including Rep. Ben McAdams, who announced he tested positive on Wednesday.
