Thanksgiving, vaccines, gas prices and more

Both Sides of the Aisle – Natalie Gochnour is joined on The Right by Sen. Dan McCay, R-Riverton, and on The Left by Shireen Ghorbani, former Salt Lake County Council member. They discuss COVID-19 amidst the holidays, Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes and Rep. Mike Schultz testing positive for COVID and the jury verdicts in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse and the men who killed Ahmaud Arbery. They also discuss gas prices, legislation to block the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia, a parent’s petition to ban certain books from Utah schools, political turkeys and gratitudes.

Between the two Thanksgivings I know which one sounds more welcoming and enjoyable to me, but to each his own.

As for Shireen’s take on the Rittenhouse case, I watched a good majority of the trail, and I’m not sure where ‘confusing gun rights’ comes into play, but to me, it seemed like one of the clearest cut and dry cases of self defense, but I’d be curious if anyone else watched the proceedings and came to a different conclusion.

As Dan fancies himself our patriarchal steward, perhaps he and his lot could see their way clear to do something about our Air Quality.
