(KCPW News) Following an intense public hearing on Monday evening, members of a Senate committee advanced a resolution asking Washington to exempt Utah from future National Monument designations under the Antiquities Act. House Joint Resolution 1 now only needs to clear the full Senate to be sent to the governor’s desk for a signature. KCPW’s Roger McDonough reports.
