Both Sides of the Aisle – Natalie Gochnour is joined on The Right by John Dougall, Utah State Auditor, and on The Left by Shireen Ghorbani, former Salt Lake County Council member. They discuss the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s resignation as leader of the Tory party and U.S. inflation. Would like you to discuss 7/13 Reuters story about the 10 year old pregnant girl who was raped. Do we really want to force her to have that baby? Would she survive?
According to the Ohio Attorney General, Ohio law has exceptions broader than just the life of the mother that would mean she didn’t have to leave the state to get treatment. To me that sounds like the current laws and limitations are working to address such tragic edge cases, as well as the more common occurrences as well.
Shireen: “People with uteruses”
I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?
Thanks, I’ll check that out. Just relying on Reuters.
