With all due respect, the ideas expressed in this episode show how very narrow the boundaries of debate have become. The public imagination of what’s possible is trapped in an endless loop of old ideas conceived of by dead white men. Why should we be ruled by the dead? I thought this country valued innovation and creativity and free thought? If we can’t think beyond capitalism and state socialism we are not free.
