KCPW, the Utah Nonprofits Association, and Utah Public Radio are partnering to spotlight the positive impacts of local nonprofit organizations.

Utah Caresfeatures a series of stories from diversified nonprofits in an effort to increase the visibility of nonprofits across the state, and to inspire people to give to organizations and community groups that are essential to the health and well-being of Utah.

KCPW will air “Utah Cares” through September 23.  You can hear it at 8:30 during Morning Edition, at 11:40 during On Point, at 1:30 during Fresh Air, and at 5:20 during All Things Considered.

Cache Valley for Hope

Sharing Love Giving Hope Blessing Lives

When Roger Welsh was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in April 2010, he was determined not only to pull through himself, but also to somehow help others. Now, Roger is spearheading Cache Valley for Hope to provide support for cancer patients in Cache Valley and their families. The organization’s first annual gala takes place on September 22.
