The exhibit features work by Evangaline Amadu, Stephanie Choi, Mālia Malae-Godinet, Victoria Meza, Michelle Wentling, Madeline Bavley, Chanté Burch, Bryn Burningham, Laurie Larson, Erin Meager, Sylvia Ohara, Kristen Vardanega, Stan Clawson, Natalie Slater
Embodied Ecologies is a collaborative, group installation focused on disability, environmental health, and community care practices in Salt Lake City. Rooted in a partnership between Art Access and the Environmental Humanities graduate program at the University of Utah, Embodied Ecologies brings together the work of fourteen local artists working in a wide variety of mediums including sculpture, poetry, textile, paint, film, printmaking, and mixed media. The installation foregrounds accessible communication across ability, with the larger goal of sparking change-making conversations within the Salt Lake Community.
