(KCPW News) With the effects of the recession still looming, the Utah Housing Coalition says the state’s housing market is still in pieces. Utah currently ranks fifth in the nation for its foreclosure rate, affecting more areas of the state than ever before. But as KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports, one organization has an upcoming event to help homeowners in crisis.
The Utah Housing and Home Ownership Preservation Day will take place Thursday, July 14th from 2-7 p.m. at the Utah State Bar Law and Justice Center, located at 645 S. 200 E. in Salt Lake City. It is free and open to the public.
