On today’s show we hear from Gerald Brown, Director of the Utah Office of Refugee Services. According to the UN, the number of Syrian refugees reached two million yesterday – up a million in the last six months. Meanwhile, another four million Syrians are displaced within their country, and many more expected to be so in the coming months as civil war in Syria escalates in its third year. We’ll speak with Brown about where these refugees are going, what their lives are like and about the refugee population in Utah. Plus, the local news.
