The Rundown: Human Rights Activist and Author John Prendergast on a Changing Africa

Today we feature a conversation with John Prendergast, co-founder of the Enough Project, an organization striving to eliminate genocide and crimes against humanity. He and actor George Clooney also started the Satellite Sentinel Project, which uses satellite imagery to try to predict and deter mass atrocities. Prendergast will be speaking in Salt Lake later this week as part of the Tanner Humanities Center’s World Leaders Lecture Forum.

Absolutely wonderful account on how parts of Africa were, have changed and the roles the U.S. and the rest of the World have played in Africa’s history

A must listen for Africanists, those who are unschooled on the wonderful continent of Africa and for those who are simply curious enough to learn something new
