Behind the Headlines: 2016 Utah Legislature ends, Finicum’s widow sues (3/11/16)

Play

The Utah Legislature wraps up its general session after debating a Medicaid expansion plan, the death penalty, medical cannabis, a deep-water port development, fetal pain, school funding and more. And Utah conservatives rally around the widow of Oregon refuge occupier “LaVoy” Finicum after investigators this week determined his shooting by police was justified.

On Friday at 9 a.m., Tribune reporters Robert Gehrke, Lee Davidson and Matt Piper as well as health, education and environment editor Rachel Piper join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the week’s top news stories.
