The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: November 16 ~ 19, 2016) – This past week the Hinckley Institute hosted a discussion about the results of the recent election – Who won?, and why? What was Utah’s role in the overall national election? How did the down-ballot races play out across the state? Who turned out to vote, and who didn’t? And, what happens now?
The panelists included: Dan Jones, President of Dan Jones and Associates, and former adjunct professor of political science; Doug Foxley, Republican lobbyist at the Utah state legislature who has worked on multiple election campaigns for Republican candidates; Frank Pignanelli, lobbyist, political columnist for the Deseret News, and former Utah state legislator; Jason Perry, Director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics, and moderator of the discussion.
