Play

The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour — This week on the program, we air a conversation with the representative of Utah’s 1st Congressional District, freshman congressman Blake Moore. Rep. Moore ran in the 2020 election after beating out twelve other Republican candidates vying to fill the seat of former Rep. Rob Bishop. He later defeated Democratic nominee Darren Parry with 69.5 percent of the vote total and was sworn into the 117th Congress on January 3rd.

Jason Perry, Director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics, moderates this week’s conversation with Rep. Moore and discusses Moore’s first days in Congress, his policy goals and the future he envisions for Utah.

This forum was recorded on February 17th, 2021.
