Segment 1:

It’s harvest time and not just in Utah’s rural areas. Urban farms, community gardens and farmer’s markets are cropping up all over the Wasatch Front. On Wednesday, Jennifer talks with an urban farmer, a foodie and Salt Lake County Councilman Jim Bradley about agriculture in the urban core.

  • Julie Peck-Dabling, Urban Farming Program Manager,  Salt Lake County
  • Sharon Leonardi, Founder of B.U.G. Farms

Segment 2:

I’m so glad everytime I hear about Urban Agriculture and homescale farming getting media attention. We’ve been “farming” our Syracuse Backyard for a number of years now and have come to believe that is it the food-supply solution of the future!
    Thanks for the exposure.
