The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour — After 45 days, the 2019 Utah legislative session ended just 2 weeks ago, and our state elected officials took on a lot of issues including abortion, conversion therapy, hate crimes and more.
At the beginning of last week, state lawmakers convened at the Hinckley Institute of Politics to review this past session, and to talk about some of the highlights.
Speaking on the panel: Utah Democratic Minority Leader, Representative Brian King of District 28; Utah Republican Senator Todd Weiler of District 23; Utah Republican Representative Steve Eliason of District 45; as well as Associated Press Political Reporter Lindsay Whitehurst. The conversation was moderated by Hinckley Institute Director, Jason Perry.
The forum was recorded on March 19, 2019.
