(KCPW News) The Utah legislature may recall a controversial bill that restricts Utah’s open records law.
Senate President Michael Waddoups told reporters this afternoon that Utah Governor Gary Herbert has reservations about how quickly the bill was debated and passed.
Waddoups said the bill could be amended to push back the date that it goes into law.
He said in that case, media outlets and the public would have more time to weigh in, and the legislature could hold a special session to change the bill based on their comments.
