The Salt Lake Valley Health Department says people at two recent events may have come in contact with someone infected with the measles.

(KCPW News) The Salt Lake Valley Health Department says people at two recent events may have come in contact with someone infected with the measles.

The first was a lecture by Nicholas Kristof at Salt Lake Community College on Monday, April 11th. The second was the Entrepreneurial Challenge Final Awards Event at Rice Eccles Stadium on Wednesday the 13th.

The department says it needs to know whether those who attended were fully vaccinated against the measles.

It’s asking people who went to either event to call the Utah Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222. There are currently nine confirmed measles cases in Salt Lake County.
