A slew of new Utah laws went into effect earlier this week, one of which gives law enforcement officers more power to write tickets to adults caught leaving their children in cars. Officers say it happens too often, and as KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports, the new law will allow them to catch offenders this summer as temperatures warm up.
