
(KCPW News) There’s no question the economy is doing better for Utah cities and towns than it was at the height of the recession. But we’re still not out of the woods yet. Right now, the Salt Lake City Council is debating how to balance the capital city’s budget. Mayor Ralph Becker again has proposed no new property taxes, but it could mean property owners need to be on the lookout for new fees. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with District One Salt Lake City Councilman Carlton Christensen, who represents Rose Park and other west side neighborhoods.
