Walk for Children’s Cancer Boosts Research Money Hit by Recession

More children are being diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States, including right here in Utah. Saturday, for the first time in its 40 year history, CureSearch, a nationwide nonprofit aimed at finding a cure, held a walk in Salt Lake City to raise money and awareness for the cause. KCPW’s Jessica Gail was there and found out why more than ever, parents and doctors alike say funding is crucial.
