Red Butte Creek Rehab Continues With Stocking of Bonneville Cutthroat Trout

Nearly 18 months have passed since a pipeline break spilled 33,000 gallons of crude oil into Salt Lake City’s Red Butte Creek. A significant cleanup effort has taken place since then, and now the Division of Wildlife Resources is stepping in to do its part.

The Division of Wildlife Resources placed fish in approximately five locations along the creek today.
