(KCPW News) Utah Congressman Jim Matheson announced today that he will run for the seat in Utah’s newly created 4th Congressional District, the same seat Republican Representative Carl Wimmer is gunning for.
Due to redistricting, the 4th District actually contains much of District 2, Matheson’s current district.
Matheson had reportedly been considering a campaign for governor.
Three other Republicans are also running for the District 4 seat, including Representative Stephen Sandstrom.
