
(KCPW News) With Rick Santorum out of the presidential race, Mitt Romney will soon make history as the first Mormon to become the presidential nominee of a major political party. But interestingly, the candidate has raised less money from the state with the most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints than he did in 2008. Every Friday, we talk with Thomas Burr, Washington Correspondent for the Salt Lake Tribune and author of Political Cornflakes, a daily, online round-up of Utah politics. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson asked him how Romney’s Utah 2012 fundraising compares with 2008.
