(KCPW News) It’s impossible for every car break in or vandalism to be reported in the news. But a new project from the Salt Lake Tribune that relies heavily on computer-assisted reporting maps out exactly where these common types of crime are occurring, helping you avoid becoming a victim yourself. Reporter Janelle Stecklein’s story on car burglaries in Salt Lake City kicked off the project in Sunday’s edition of the newspaper. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with her about how it works.
