Segment 1:

Think about your posture at the computer. Or on a park bench. Or on the couch. Chances are you’re slumping, hunched over or slouching. But according to yoga practitioner Charlotte Bell, there is a way to sit well. In her latest book, she offers 22 poses that will help align the spine, loosen the muscles and “alleviate the physical rigors” of sitting. On Wednesday, Bell joins us to describe how proper sitting helps strengthen the body and quiet the mind.

A new public art installation coming to Salt Lake City invites passersby to tickle the ivories. Ten pianos embellished by local artists will be placed throughout downtown as part of “Play Me, I’m Yours,” an art project which has put more than 500 pianos in 22 cities around the globe. On Wednesday, artist Luke Jerram joins us to talk about music, community and conversation.
