
After a sold-out run in 2009, the hit Broadway show Wicked has landed once again in Salt Lake City, opening tonight at the Capitol Theatre. The famous musical composed by Stephen Schwartz and based on the novel by Gregory Maguire tells a much different story about the characters first made famous by The Wizard of Oz. So what are the intricacies of bringing a show that frequently performs at larger venues to the Capitol Theatre? KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with Company Manager Steve Quinn as 14 semis the production uses were unloaded at the venue.
Wicked performs at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City tonight through August 26th. Production officials say 76 local crew members have been hired for the run.
