Segment 1:

A $123 million bond for parks was too rich for the Salt Lake County Council, but a pared-down version got a better reception. Last week, the Council unanimously gave the nod to a bond measure that will ask voters to decide if they want to borrow $47.5 million for new parks and trails. On Monday, we’ll talk about what the money would be used for and what it would mean for your pocketbook.
