CityViews 12/6/12: Utah’s Wasatch Range/Practicing Happiness





Segment 1:

What do the mountains – specifically the Wasatch Range – mean to you? From artists to activists to residents of all kinds, the Wasatch Mountains provide recreation, refuge and inspiration. On Thursday, we’ll talk about how the Wasatch Range feeds us physically and spiritually.





Segment 2:

Happiness and living a happy life requires self-care and some work. That’s the argument by philosopher Jeffrey Nielsen. On Thursday, Nielsen joins us to explain how it is possible to be happy regardless of what is going on around us or happening to us.

Jeffrey Nielsen will deliver the lecture, “The Art of Being Human: The Practice of Happiness in the Present Moment,” on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1:45 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City.
