In 2004, Salt Lake County voters elected a political newcomer to bring fresh ideas and restore faith in a scandal-rocked county government. Eight years later, Mayor Peter Corroon says that confidence in government is back, along with new libraries and rec centers, open space preservation and services for a growing refugee population. On Wednesday, Corroon joins us to reflect on his tenure and the future of Salt Lake County as he moves on.
