(KCPW News) The Executive Director of a Salt Lake community nonprofit was honored by the White House last week for his work on immigration issues. The award was given to the Downtown Alliance’s Jason Mathis, a familiar voice for KCPW listeners – he joins us every week for Access Downtown to talk about happenings in Salt Lake City. KCPW’s Roger McDonough asked Mathis about being recognized by the White House for helping to guide Utah’s discussion on immigration.
