The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: Jan. 22, 2014) – Sasha Issenberg is a journalist who covers politics, business, and culture, for the online magazines Slate and Monacle. In The Victory Lab, which came out just before the 2012 election, Issenberg chronicles the development of the behind-the-scenes strategies, social science theories, and statistical modeling tricks that political campaigners now can use to find out what motivates people to vote for one candidate over another. Issenberg writes a regular column for Slate magazine called “The Victory Lab.” This Hinckley Institute Radio Hour was recorded live with an audience of students, at the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah, on December 3rd, 2013.
