1/24/14: LDS on liquor, gay couples sue, dirty air

Play

The LDS Church speaks out on the state’s liquor laws, saying the status quo is just fine. Four same-sex couples are taking Utah to court, arguing the stay on gay marriages is illegal, arbitrary and harmful. Utah is also being sued by a group of fathers whose children were put up for adoption without their knowledge or consent. And Utah’s air reached the dirtiest levels in the nation.

Tribune reporters Robert Gehrke, Brian Maffly and columnist Paul Rolly join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to process the week’s top headlines.
