2/28/14: Gay rights, Count My Vote, school audit

Gay rights activists meet with lawmakers in the first public forum about LGBT stigmas and abuse, a day after attorneys argue Amendment 3 “cemented” discrimination against same-sex couples. Politicians line up for and against the Count My Vote measure even as two bills that would undermine the ballot initiative work their way through the Legislature. And an audit shows some schools are getting paid for online students, even if students don’t show.

On Friday at 9 a.m., Tribune reporters Brooke Adams, Kristen Moulton and Robert Gehrke, as well as editorial writer George Pyle, join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to process the week’s top headlines.
