(KCPW News) Salt Lake County government is teaming up with local municipalities to boost homeless services in the county.

On Thursday, Salt Lake area officials announced the first disbursement of a new $200,000 grant designed to fund a new anti-homelessness initiative. The money will help local organizations collaborate better in aiding Salt Lake County’s homeless population.

KCPW’s Ryan Cunningham has more.
