(KCPW News) Same-sex marriage is once again legal in Utahāand this time, itās likely here to stay.
The United States Supreme Court announced on Monday morning that it would not be hearing any cases challenging same-sex marriage bans. The high court rejected cases from Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. While the move does not directly endorse same-sex marriage, it does mean that recent appellate court decisions around the country are affirmed. With those circuit courtsā opinions tacitly upheld, up to 30 states could now recognize gay marriage.
