The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: April 29, 2015) – Dr. Gunseli Berik, professor of Economics at the University of Utah, spoke recently about her research into the Gender Wage Gap. Specifically, Berik seeks to debunk some of the myths and misconceptions behind the discussion of why women on average make less money than men. She also speaks about proposed approaches to closing the gap. Currently in the US – men generally make 22 percent more than women, Berik says. In Utah, the gap is 30 percent. Dr. Berik spoke at the University of Utah on April 9th, 2015.
