The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: September 16, 2015) – Arthur C. Brooks is President of the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative Washington D.C.-based think tank. He recently published The Conservative Heart: How to Build a Fairer, Happier and more Prosperous America. Brooks says the conservative movement is in trouble. Polls show a majority of Americans call the GOP “the party of the rich.” Polls also show that most Americans view the Republican Party as uncompassionate. 
Brooks says these are misconceptions that Republicans need to change. He is calling for a new conservative movement with a positive agenda. One that promotes equal opportunity and addresses income inequality. Arthur Brooks spoke at the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah last week on September 8, 2015.
