We’re down to our last episode of the Daily Buzz’s coverage of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Today we take a look at one of the Indie Episodic programs debuting at the festival, THE MORTIFIED GUIDE. We chat with showrunner Mike Mayer, and executive producers Neil Katcher and Dave Nadelberg, about turning the popular podcast, into a stage show, and now into a television seies. We also go remote to chat female representation behind the camera with Amy Adrion, director of the sundance documentary HALF THE PICTURE.
The Daily Buzz from the Sundance Film Festival was an recurring series, recorded on-site in Park City, Utah during Sundance and featuring interviews with some of the most important voices in the entertainment industry, including directors, actors, producers, festival directors and journalists in the independent film world. It aired during Sundance from 2014-2020.
